 Chelsea's Big Day
Today Chelsea Clinton is getting married....big hoopla to the tune of reportedly between 3 to 5 million dollars. The media of course have made a huge deal out of this, much to the Clinton's delight...more limelight syndrome. I remember Jenna Bush got married while her father was A SITTING PRESIDENT and it was a very quiet dignified affair. Another example of new money having no class. I am just wondering, since the Clinton's have made a fortune after leaving office and can afford this outrageous price tag for a wedding, are they going to pay their friends back for purchasing the house they reside in?

Okay, thats what I thought...these hill jacks have really never payed for anything out of their own pockets, have they? I am sure a lot of the services for the wedding were donated, due to Billy Jeff and Hill-Rod! Love those names,CC.

Uh, Barpar, is this really something that we should give a damn about...... . Personally, I always felt sorry for her because of who her parents are, and because she is so darn ugly.

 Re: Chelsea's Big Day
here's a nice take on the wedding All over the internet, progressive websites are touting the new "Royal Couple" as though everything's glorious because love is in the air. They may talk in pretty language, but this is not a royal wedding, this is a criminal enterprise gaining traction.http://www.americanthinker.com/blog/201 ... ossib.html

 Re: Chelsea's Big Day
I forget the number, but the new father-in -law spent a few years in prison. When he got out, he was going to write a book, but his son nixed the idea. Looks like Chelsea married into the right family. JD, oh, I don't know if we should care about these things or not, it is up to you to decide that for yourself. I have nothing against her and like you, rather feel sorry for her and what she has had to endure. I just can't stand her parents and the fact that they can lavish this kind of money on a wedding, but couldn't buy their own house.

Ed Mezvinsky, a former IA congressman, spent 8 yrs in Federal Prison. He was convicted on 31 of 69 counts of fraud. He swindled several people for a tune of 10 million dollars.

 Re: Chelsea's Big Day
The sins of the father........... What do we know about the son? Anyway, I am with the Colonel and JD. Who cares? Let's see how long they stay together. Anyway, on another thread I mentioned the millions of dollars spend on a wedding. Such waste and in the face of our times, where millions of people have no jobs and are in dire straits. BTW, I read or heard that the "royal" couple or the Clinton parents aren't paying for anything. Nice, if you can get it. As for royal, I called American politicians royalty about 45 years ago. Someone must have heard me say that because one hears it a lot. My using the term ROYAL was in no way a compliment, I think it is now.

 Re: Chelsea's Big Day
I wish them the best. They both had to deal with the very public shame of their fathers' actions. It very well could be part of their attraction for each other.

 Re: Chelsea's Big Day
Bull,I do too. I agree that they both have had to go through some pretty rough times, due to their parents, and the possibility that this was a common bond is a good guess. I care about this topic because love him or hate him, Clinton was our President for 8 years, and when a child gets married, its newsworthy...thats just me. What say you, Bull?

 Re: Chelsea's Big Day
When they have a child, and the 2 grandfathers are sitting around the hospital waiting room, they should have a lot in common to talk about. I just hope the cigars Bill hands out will still be wrapped and the seal intact.........
